7 year Anniversary!

In all the updating I forgot to mention that Jeremy and I celebrated our 7th Wedding Anniversary on January 27th. We spent the previous weekend in Manti and so his parents watched the kids while we went to dinner. I got sick the day we went so I was not in much of a celebrating mood. We have yet to celebrate by going to get much needed massages. I am looking forward to it!!! I am so happy that I found this man. (Thanks Mike) He has been such an amazing husband and father! I am so lucky to be his wife. We have so much fun together and with our little family. Sometimes we look at each other and are just so happy with where our life is it almost seems too good to be true. We are not a perfect family or couple by any means, but it is imperfectly perfect for me! I am looking forward to many more years and lifetimes with him! I have found a few quotes that I love and so I dedicate these to Jeremy, here they are;
"I would never be happy with anyone else as long as you walked the Earth."
"Relationships last long because two people made a choice to KEEP IT, FIGHT FOR IT & WORK FOR IT!"
"You have my whole heart for my whole life."
"I don't need you. I need Christ and Him alone, But I do chose you. And because of Him, I chose perfectly."

I love you Jeremy!

Silly Boy

Landon sure goes into these funny moods when you change his clothes up a little. So before I took his shirt all the way off, I hooded it and he went running. He turns into a completely different little boy. We have started putting him in a robe after baths to let him air out a little due to diaper rashes. He is so funny when he is pretty much naked. He must really feel free. We have that one on video. Landon has also decided he is afraid of his shadow. Jeremy makes shadow animals on the carpet and Landon runs from the "dog." He is also a little unsure when he is running and dancing about this thing following him. It is pretty funny to see! He is so fun right now! So happy and loving life. We love seeing new characteristics of his personality come around. I can't imagine how we were before him!

Snow Cave

Because of the many snow storms this Winter, we have accumulated a large mound of snow in our front yard. Jeremy decided to get hard at work and make it a fun cave for the kids. while he was shoveling out the snow, Brielle and I set out to decorate it. I saw on pinterest how to make colored water (not sure why I needed help on this one-just water and food color in spray bottles). I used my Neon food colors and it was great fun! Even some friends joined in.

Valentine's Day

Here is Brielle all ready for her Valentine's Party at School. She is so excited! Especially because she has a little crush on a boy named Ashton. I am a little surprised at how early she has started liking boys. Ashton is now a name we hear non-stop. I am not sure he is feeling the same way though. Silly boys!

Brielle got this cute heart dress first thing V-Day morning. Landon got some finger paints that aren't shown. She loves the dress and wants to wear it everyday!

After school she came home to 14 hearts all over her door (Landon's too) with things that we love about them. She loved seeing that and asks me to reread them everyday to her. Landon just looks at them and says "wow!" I haven't taken pics of them yet, but will before I take them down.
We ate a candlelight dinner as a family of lasagna, garlic bread and sparkling cider. The kids opened little boxes of books, socks, & other random little toys. Brielle kept saying this was the best holiday ever! Even when we asked what about Halloween & Christmas!? she still said this one was the best. That makes me feel so good as a mommy to hear that I did a job well done!

Winter Fun @ Home

I made homemade glow in the dark paint for the bath and it didn't work out so great. The kids still had fun, but we'll have to try it differently again sometime.

Dress Up is always a must for everyday activities in our home

 Green Smoothies...YUM

I am so glad my kids love these! We do too! This has become almost a daily thing around here.

Bedtime at our home...

All I want for Christmas...is my hair cut short!

Brielle had been asking for over a month now to get her hair cut short. Jeremy and I were undecided on whether now was a good time or to wait for Summer. After I got done cutting a client's hair, she ran in the salon and said I want it cut NOW. So we did & here are the before pics....

all smiles and waiting!
 And the After pics....

She loves having her hair short and it looks so cute on her! Every week she tells me how it has grown and that we need to trim it up again. But we decided to start growing it again for Summer so she can have braids and ponytails for swimming.

Getting ready for CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Landon thought it was fun to wear this hat while we decorated the house for Christmas. He really got into the holiday spirit!

Our cute kids!

Our tree all trimmed. I even made the tree skirt this year! I have wanted a tree skirt other than an old sheet for many years & I finally made one (again thanks to Pinterest). My in-laws picked out our tree, chopped it down and halled all the way to Spanish Fork for us to get it. It was the perfect tree!

We added lights to the pillars this year too. I think we will do that again next year!

Getting the house all iced up with Daddy!

This is only halfway finished, but it turned out way cute! Sorry no end result

Playing in the snow

Snow man and snow lady for each of our cute kids. The scarves, gloves & hats were buried in the next storm and I just got them back in the house last week! Only 3 months later!

We had my brother Joe for Christmas this year, & I decided to buy him a "date."
This is how we dressed up his date, hahahaha...not literally. The body of the snowman have gifts inside of cologne, giftcard for dinner and another for the Leonardo Museum. We thought it would be a clever way to wrap his gifts that were being delivered to his house in Nephi. He thought it was pretty cool too!

Brielle's Christmas photography;

Grandma and Grandpa Stilson, Shane & Lisa all came for Christmas this year. Here Grandpa & Landon fell asleep waiting to go ice skating Christmas Eve. Brandon was suppose to come too, but a wicked snow storm came across the whole state Christmas Eve and he got stuck in Manti by himself. Luckily he didn't wake up until mid-afternoon anways, just before Ed & Sharron returned home. Just in time to open gifts...again! Unfortunately, my mother-in-law lost her camera with all our Christmas pictures on it! We are hoping to still find them one of these days and I will edit this post when we get them.
Brielle's Santa wish list: Rollerskates, Ariel toddler princess doll
She must have been a good girl because she got it & much more!
Landon got lots of trucks & balls and also his own basketball hoop. He made a slam dunk in between opening each of his gifts.
