A Sizzlin' Summer

Our cute little Brielle! She is growing so fast and has such a fun personality. She loves asking everyone their names no matter where we are. We will soon need to teach her "stranger danger." We are having such a fun summer with her and she already has a better tan than me-not a huge accomplishment, but she has her daddy's nice olive skin. Lucky girl!

The 4th of July & my Grandma Greenhalgh's birthday!
We celebrated with a dinner at my grandparents home in Nephi a few days before the actual holiday.
I was in charge of the desserts and especially her cake. I duplicated the cake I made for the YW Luau auction.  My Grandma loved the cake. I asked her if she ever gets tired of having her birthdays always in red, white and blue with stars and stripes. She proudly said no.

4th of July weekend fishing with the family. Brielle loved using her new Barbie fishing pole & it actually was quite successful. Jeremy even kept using it after Brielle was all fished out. The other guys loved teasing Jer about his pink pole.

Brielle was a little afraid at first, but soon got over the fear and wanted to touch each catch!
Sharron, Brielle and I stayed cool under the large umbrella. It has been one hot summer with being pregnant and all.
We had our own tailgate picnic after fishing. Brielle had to be on the back with Papa.

Freedom Festival 2011
Jeremy took Brielle on a horse ride. She loves to ride horses but they are usually a lot smaller or ponies.

Hot days spent at Seven Peaks
This year our family got great deals on season passports to Seven Peaks of Salt Lake.
We usually go as a family once a week after Jeremy is off work, but Brielle and I couldn't wait to go during the day after our weekend in Manti. We had such a fun day-just us girls!
Prego face never looks good on camera.
The many faces of Brielle

Brielle looks so grown up in this picture!

You always know when she is silent that she is getting into things.
This day it was just her sippy of chocolate milk. But look at that smile. She was so happy and had lots of fun! Thankfully she was still in her chair & it cleaned up easily.

The boys first stitches.
This is the results of heads colliding during a rough game of basketbell.
6 stitches, a little bruising, and hopefully only a little scar.
And the other guy got nothing. He must have a hard head!
Jeremy sure got razzed the next day at work. Everyone had a story of how it probably happened.
