We headed to Vegas Baby! Baby Keegan that is!

On June 14th we headed back to St. George and then on to Vegas to see our newest addition to the family. My oldest brother Mike and wife Kimmy had their first baby Keegan Michael.

Proud Grandma! Look how tiny Keegan is!!! That became his name pretty quickly to Landon-Tiny Baby

Landon and Brielle wanted to see the new baby every minute!

Proud Grandpa!

My little girl looks all grown up holding Keegan

A very curious Landon
After we got back to Grandma's in St. George we headed to the splash pad right in town to cool off.
These frogs were so fun to climb on and they squirt water from their mouths too!

My water babies! All smiles!
A few days later my sister and I returned to Vegas to help the new parents. Can't say we did too much. This perfect baby wasn't too much of a hassle. Heather and I felt like pros with the parents making big deals out of how quickly we could change a diaper. He was so fun to hold and love!!! Wish we lived closer to see him grow up into a fun little toddler! I guess we'll be making a few more trips south now.

Messy Man Landon

Landon's favorite thing to do in his room is take all the toys out of the buckets and play while sitting in the middle of it all. It seems like this Summer we are always on the run and he rarely gets the time to just sit and enjoy his toys. When Landon goes missing this is the place I know I can find him.

Look at this big boy face!!! a little Jeremy actually!

Dirty Dash June 8th 2013

Here we are arriving at Soldier Hollow in Heber to run the Dirty Dash. Our team name was
Monster Moosies. We sported these nice bandannas with our team name. Before the race we all put on our war paint. 10K plus mud & obstacles here we come!

A few of us waiting for the race to begin & the beautiful valley behind us.

Our team part of the way through getting a little dirty

Argh!!! Our stank faces

Back at the car & lightly rinsed off. We sat on towels on the way home and had to strip down to our undies to get all the mud, dirt, sticks, grass and anything else caught up in our clothes all rinsed out. It was a fun experience and we plan to run it again in September!

Out at the Ranch

A co-worker of Jeremy's invited us out to the Hope Ranch out in South Jordan for a ride and BBQ. The kids had a blast riding the horses and playing with the other kids. The arena was really large to ride in and really just amazing! Hope Ranch works with high school age kids who help train horses who have been injured or not taken good care of. They also work with handicapped kids as well. It is a fun day out for them as well as therapy.

Brielle chose the biggest horse in the arena to ride for her first time.

Landon rode with the owner of the ranch Teri.

Brielle waiting her turn to ride again. Look at the size of this arena!

Look Mom, no hands!!!
This is where we had the BBQ after riding

Our Little Graduate

Brielle has been attending Ms. Kathy's Preschool this past year. We have loved Brielle attending her school and Brielle has really enjoyed getting to know new friends as well as learning her ABC's, how to spell her name, some Spanish, sign language and things concerning her environment and community. We highly recommend  Ms. Kathy's Preschool! On May 30th we had Brielle's preschool graduation at the Magna Library. All her classmates were dressed in their best and sang some of their favorite songs of the year. Brielle was sad to say goodbye to her friends and teacher. Brielle will be attending a different elementary than the rest of her preschool friends for Kindergarten.

Scandinavian Days & Memorial Camping

It wouldn't be Memorial Weekend if we weren't in Ephraim celebrating Scandinavian Days with the family. Here we are ready for the parade to start. The Espinoza family joined us for the festivities too. After the day at the park with surprisingly nice weather, we headed up the mountain for a weekend of camping!

Aurturo Jr, Mercy, Landon and Me

Willie the Clown is a definite if there is a parade!

Arturo Jr, Peter & Alex with a few of the vikings around town
Brielle snacking on some cheese and crackers while the bunch of us fished.

My kids are looking like they have never seen a fish out of water before-too funny!

Fishing with Daddy!

Brielle caught the biggest fish of the weekend on her little pink Barbie pole!

Landon and I kept busy eating licorice and blowing bubbles

The kids made fun trails for the balls to roll down our camp in. They were constantly rebuilding and finding fun ways to roll them down.
