Trip to the dentist

Both Landon and Brielle were so brave at the dentist!
They took x-rays and all without needing my help! I am so proud of them!
They got to watch Wreck-It Ralph while getting their teeth cleaned.

New Room and New Beds!!

I have been trying to make this happen for quite some time now, but I finally found some bunk beds on KSL and finally got their room all done to put them in! Brielle is moving over to Landon's room so that the twins can have her room (super sweet-I know! Not that she had much of a choice-we needed the bigger room).
I painted a pink stripe to go with the other green, blue and brown ones already on Landon's wall to make it a little more gender neutral. Cleaned out all the baby stuff, and moved all of her stuff in. They are both loving their new bed and change to be roommates. Hopefully it stays that way!

I am now working on a play room for all their toys. It is so nice to not have their bedrooms crowded with toys! I will reveal those pictures as soon as I am done-just about there. It is a surprise for my kids too!

Girl's weekend away

This is the view from our Condos in Eden. My mom and I went up there to get away and just let me have some time to myself (and my mom) without kids before these next two come along. We watched movies, went to the hot tub (I put my feet in), we played a game of tether ball. Went shopping at some boutiques, drove around the beautiful towns of Huntsville and Liberty, had some great BBQ and played games. May not sound like a lot, but that was the point. I was able to relax and just do whatever we wanted.
The last day on our way home we stopped in Ogden for a street fair, where we shopped and had lunch before coming home. I haven't ever really spent much time in Ogden, but really enjoyed it. They have painted horses all over town and also painted pianos that you can just sit down and play on street sides and corners. It was fun to get out and see some new sights. There were also stars from the Sy-Fy channel in town at Union Station, doing their paranormal stuff. They sat next to us at lunch.

Lando's 3rd Birthday Party at the Lake!

We celebrated at the Lake with Shark and Fish cupcakes as well as many friends and family
It was so windy he hardly had enough time to blow out his candle.

 Opening presents!!
 Play time in the sand!

Not the greatest picture, but the next day (his actual birthday), after church we sang to him again and let him blow out some candles. I also brought special treats (swedish fish) for his class in Nursery.

First day of 1st Grade!

I can't believe we have a first grader!!
Brielle is such a fun active little girl, who loves to play with lots of friends! She is so beautiful and I can't believe she is my little girl! All grown up! Landon and I will sure miss her while she is at school!
She was so excited to wear her Twinkle Toe Shoes

Missing her two front teeth! Hopefully they are in before Christmas!

Have to have one silly picture! I couldn't get Landon to get in one.

Big Boy Landon

Look who's almost 3!

Love this picture!

Play time at Daybreak

Keeping up with the challenge for Primary, we headed out to Daybreak to get a picture at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple.

Of course we had to stop and play at the playground...
 and the beach & lake

It was after this outing that Landon decided he wanted his birthday party at the Lake!

Moroni's Quest-Youth Conference August 2014

Jeremy and I were asked to be Tribal Parents for our Youth Conference this year. In a nut shell the youth of the stake were all divided up into tribes and then given tribal parents, a name from the Book of Mormon and then they re-enacted the major events of the Book of Mormon. We were all to wear clothes that were worn during those times as well.
We were team yellow, so we picked the name "Amarillo Sol" meaning Yellow Sun.
We met with our tribe for many months making swords and decorating shields and a banner.

We had a fun time at camp, getting to know our youth and the Book of Mormon better. The last day at camp we gathered around a fire pit and they had a scene where all the past prophets whose scenes had been re-enacted earlier in the week walked up to "Joseph Smith" and handed him their history. All while Praise to the Man was being played. Then all the Priests and Laurels walked up to the front singing Called to Serve in their Sunday best and then announced where they were called to serve in the next few months. It was a very powerful and spiritual moment-the greatest of the whole week, and a great way to end Youth Conference.
The next day in Sacrament the speakers didn't show up for sacrament so they called us up out of the blue to talk about our experiences at youth conference. Jeremy and I were quite caught off guard, but it was great to share what we had experienced over the weekend.

Trail Camera pictures

First part of August we headed back to Manti to pick up Jeremy's trail camera and fix up the 4-wheeler. These are some of the pictures we got from the camera.
