We talked Michelle and family into joining us in Manti for a small town 4th of July celebration. We were headed down on the 3rd so we picked Bailee and Emery up for a sleepover at Grandma Stilson's. It was their first so it left them a little overly-excited! Took a while for them to go to sleep, but they loved every minute of it!
Festivities the next day begin at the city park. Everyone gets decked out in their 4th of July clothing and enjoy food, games, dunk tanks and other activities until it gets too hot to handle anymore.
We headed to Palisade Lake for a little fun in the water to cool down.
Standing in the lake you can feel the baby fish biting and sucking on your feet. Funny feeling!
We even found a little toad to entertain the kids while they were there.
After some relaxation and naps back at Grandma's, we went to Main street for the parade and then to the High School where the community gathers to watch fireworks.
