This year's cake auction was a Hoe-down. It was a lot of fun and everyone dressed up in their cowboy gear. I was asked to provide some haircut gift certificates for their service portion of the auction, but I love decorating cakes too, so couldn't resist making this owl cake. It was so easy and fun to make!! It was purchased for $45! Not bad for a box cake mix & a little cookies and candy for extras!!

We came home with a few of the services auctioned. We bought some babysitting and a tour of the Salt Lake Airport Firehouse, including a ride on a fire truck! Can't wait to use them!!
